Inconsistent quality. First let me say I purchased this case (same seller, slightly lower price) for my iPhone 8 two years ago and loved it! It was gorgeous, the gems were those nice crystal gems, case was flexible yet sturdy, all the buttons aligned well. No matter where I went, people would comment how much they loved it. It was just a grade A phone case.Well my old case was starting to look a bit dingy/I’d lost a few buttons so I figured I’d buy the case again after upgrading to the iPhone SE. And boy was I in for a surprise.Idk what happened in these last 2 years, but the New case I got was awful; the buttons were either oversized or illfitting (in addition, the old case had separate volume buttons which I loved so the one long button in this new case was a disappointing change), the gems look cheap- yes, even cheaper than your standard plastic gems- like someone painted cheap chrome paint on top of plastic scraps, and the gold plating on the pop ring in back rubbed off and got dingy looking the first time I touched it.All in all, the new case looks like the cheapest fakest rip off of the image you see up top - a shame considering how good the case was at one point. I’ll have to return this and find another adorable case for my new phone I guess.
